EMDR Therapy REFRESHER COURSE

This fully remote (via Zoom) refresher course is for clinicians who have completed EMDR Basic Training (EMDRIA-approved), and would like a refresher in the material and concepts. It is designed for clinicians who feel the need for a “tune-up”, for those who haven’t had the opportunity to practice using EMDR therapy recently, and for those who lack confidence in their EMDR therapy skills. This 1-1/2 day training will include a demo or video of an EMDR therapy session, as well as Q&A, and case consultation if time allows.

COST:

INCLUDES: CE hours from NBCC or NASW-MA, and written materials (copies of slides) emailed prior to training

The course will include review of:

· The 8 phase Methodology of EMDR therapy

· The 3-pronged approach: past, present, future

· The Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) Model

· Strategies for working with complex clients

· Extended preparation/resource development tools

· Strategies for working with blocked processing

· Strategies for providing EMDR therapy remotely and in-person
